Lynn Boone, Senior Vice President, Planning & Reserves
Ms. Boone joined Bonanza Creek in August 2012. She directs the company's reservoir engineering, reserves estimation, SEC reporting, and engineering planning. Ms. Boone began her career at Unocal and has worked in lead engineering and reservoir engineering roles with the U.S. Geological Survey, HS Resources, and Cody Energy. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President – Planning and Reserves at Bill Barrett Corporation from 2003 to 2012. Ms. Boone holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Ryan Zorn, Senior Vice President, Finance & Treasurer
Mr. Zorn joined Bonanza Creek in October 2012 as its Vice President of Finance, and was appointed as its Treasurer in 2014. He is responsible for directing the company’s corporate finance, capital markets, risk management, and investor relations strategies. From 2010 until 2012, Mr. Zorn was a portfolio manager at Bijou Capital Management, an energy sector investment fund which he founded. From 2005 until 2010, Mr. Zorn was a director and portfolio manager with Saracen Energy Advisors, a multi-strategy energy sector hedge fund in Houston and Denver. Prior to Saracen, Mr. Zorn was Vice President of Exploration & Production Equity Research for Simmons & Company International in Houston, and held various equity research and investment banking positions for Goldman Sachs & Company in New York and Nesbitt Burns Securities Inc. in Houston. Mr. Zorn graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and competed substantial course work in Petroleum Engineering.
Wade Jaques, Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Jaques joined Bonanza Creek in 2010 as its Controller, and was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer in September 2011. At various times since 2010, Mr. Jaques served as Bonanza Creek’s Principal Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Bonanza Creek, Mr. Jaques was the Controller and Assistant Corporate Secretary for Ellora Energy Inc., a Colorado based independent oil and gas company, from October 2005 until shortly after its merger with Exxon Mobil Corporation in August 2010. Prior to that time, Mr. Jaques was an Audit Manager in Deloitte & Touche’s Denver office, serving oil and gas clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accountancy from Utah State University and is a certified public accountant in Texas and Colorado.
David Lillo, Senior Vice President, Rocky Mountain Asset Management
Mr. Lillo joined Bonanza Creek in 2013 to serve as our Vice President of Rocky Mountain Asset Management. Prior to joining Bonanza Creek, Mr. Lillo held numerous positions with Noble Energy, Inc. from 2005-2013, including District Manager, Development and Operations Manager, and Manager of Major Projects and Infrastructure for the DJ Basin. From 1998-2005, Mr. Lillo served in several positions of increasing responsibility, including District Production Manager, overseeing Wattenberg operations at Patina Oil and Gas Corporation. Prior to this, Mr. Lillo held several operation and technical positions with various companies operating in Kansas, North Dakota, and California. Mr. Lillo holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
